The Greene County Circuit Clerk's office is an equal opportunity employer. Our office consists of a staff of 72 clerks that handle and process the documents of the court. We are employees of the State of Missouri.

Pursuant to the Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA) of 1986, new employees are required to submit documentary proof of their identity and employment authorization. New employees are also required to complete and sign a Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, verifying that the employee is authorized to work in the United States.
Each employee is required to meet the minimum education and experience qualifications for the job class of the assigned position. A copy of the job description for any open job class can be obtained from our Chief Deputy Clerk. Every person newly employed is required to successfully complete a minimum six-month probationary period.

Employment Opportunities:
COLLEGE INTERN PROGRAM
Open to college students who are enrolled in a legal or law degree program. Program will consist of working in various departments within the Clerk’s office. Must be willing to learn and perform necessary tasks of a court clerk. Minimum time requirement is 15 hours per week. Monthly stipend or hourly wage may be available to the right candidate. Intern should leave with a good working knowledge of the Circuit Clerk’s office and Courthouse.
High school diploma required.
