Domestic Relations Unit



The Domestic Relations Unit serves families who have cases pending in Greene County Family Court and individuals filing adult or child protection orders in Greene County. All referrals to Domestic Relations come from the Greene County Family Court. All officers in the Domestic Relations Unit are located in the 31st Judicial Circuit Courthouse.

ADR Coordinator: A Domestic Relations Officer provides the following services: ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) Class, referrals and organization of mediation services. This officer and other DRO's are trained and available to provide mediation services as needed.

Common Ground Supervised Access Program: A Domestic Relations Officer provides the following services: Supervised Visits, Supervised Exchanges, Co-Parent Conflict Management Class, and therapeutic visits (in the presence of a certified mental health professional).

Investigation: Two Domestic Relations Officers are responsible for conducting investigations ordered by the court to address allegations and/or concerns regarding custodial arrangements for the minor child of the case. Cases pending in Family Court include Dissolutions, Paternity, Modifications, and Family Access Motions.
