Sara Moore

Sara Moore, ERC Coordinator

Sara has a Master of Arts degree in Psychology. She enjoys exploring the field of psychology and applying her acquired knowledge in her professional and personal life. She has experience working with at-risk youth throughout Michigan and within the Chicago area. Her experience includes working with adjudicated adolescent males needing psychiatric treatment; assisting youth within the Chicago area to obtain needed life skills in an after-school program; and providing treatment services for psychiatric patients, ages 3 to geriatric, in a psychiatric hospital located in the Chicago area. She has worked closely with court agents, psychiatrists, and psychologists throughout her work experience. Working with adjudicated youth allowed for the opportunity to become familiar with the justice system as she was a facility representative in court and maintained contact with caseworkers and judges.

Nick Pleshka

Nick Pleshka, Youth Specialist

Nick is currently attending Missouri State University as a Sociology and Criminology major. Nick moved to the United States from Ukraine his sophomore year in high school. Nick's main goal in life is to become someone who can make a difference in people's lives, and help people who are in need. Nick is very active, he likes all kinds of sports, but his all time favorite is soccer. Nick's favorite soccer team is Barcelona.

Eric Gregory

Eric George, ERC Youth Specialist

Eric is currently studying Criminology at Missouri State University. Before attending Missouri State, Eric served 3 years of active duty in the Army as a dog handler. He spent 2008 deployed to Baghdad, Iraq where he had a successful deployment uncovering numerous weapons and explosives. Eric currently lives in Springfield with his wife and stepson, and is currently waiting on the arrival of their baby boy!

Cheryl Puzach

Cheryl Puzach, Re/Entry Aftercare Specialist

Cheryl graduated from Missouri State in December 2010 with a B.S. in Criminology and a minor in Psychology. Currently, Cheryl is working on her Master's degree in Criminology and will graduate in December 2012. She completed an internship with the Greene County Juvenile Office in the summer of 2010 and worked with the G.I.F.T.S. component of the ERC for a year before becoming a Re-Entry/Aftercare Specialist at the ERC. Her hometown is Rolla, Missouri. Cheryl's main goal is to work with at-risk youth in some capacity and hopes to make a positive difference in their lives. She enjoys going to the lake, scrapbooking, and watching football.
