Below are pictures and brief profiles of each of the staff at the Evening Reporting Center.
Eric George, ERC Youth Specialist
Eric is currently studying Criminology at Missouri State University. Before attending Missouri State, Eric served 3 years of active duty in the Army as an off-leash explosives detecting dog handler. He spent 2008 deployed to Baghdad, Iraq where he had a successful deployment uncovering numerous weapons and explosives while supporting combat operations. Eric currently lives in the Springfield area with his family. Eric's hobbies are fishing, camping, and attending local sporting events.
Jonna Welch, ERC Youth Specialist
Jonna is currently studying Criminal Justice Administration through Missouri Southern State's online degree program. Jonna transferred to Missouri Southern State from Northwest Missouri State in Maryville, MO where she played soccer. Jonna's main career goal is to work with offenders of all different ages in the hopes of helping them get their lives back on track. Jonna's plan is to get her Bachelor's degree and continuing on to get her Master's degree. Jonna really enjoys playing soccer and basketball as well as playing her guitar in her free time.
Caleb Crump, ERC Youth Specialist
Caleb is a junior at Missouri State University and is studying Criminology. Caleb attended high school in Arkansas, and moved to Missouri to attend college. He is still deciding on exactly what area of criminology he would like to pursue after school. Helping young people set goals and be able to maintain a healthy lifestyle in the community is something Caleb enjoys doing. Caleb enjoys staying fit and watching sports in his free time.
