Family Dependency Treatment Court

  • An intensive and specialized judicial program that serves families with children in protective custody due to parental substance abuse.
  • Working together, the court, child protective services, and treatment agencies coordinate to restore parents' sobriety and provide for the safety and welfare of the children.
  • 2003 recipient of an Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) federal drug court implementation grant.

Juvenile Drug Court / Reclaiming Futures Project

  • Collaborate with community partners and provide strengths-based therapeutic and supportive services aimed at helping juveniles become clean and sober.
  • Will provide substance abuse education/prevention and after-care/re-entry services to improve and expand treatment services, implement a system of care to coordinate social services, and increase community opportunities for youth.
  • Reclaiming Futures is a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation initiative to improve substance-abuse intervention for justice-involved youth.
  • 2007 recipient of an OJJDP/Reclaiming Futures implementation grant.
