Stay connected
An Ozarks Ready family stays connected by knowing where to get official information both at the local, state, and federal level. They take advantage of the many social media Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr outlets to stay connected both before and especially during a disaster. They subscribe to message alert systems that might be available thru their employer, school, or other agencies. They have key phone numbers of their phones, in their homes and they carry these important numbers in their wallets and purses on contact cards.
