Greene County Purchasing Department
The Greene County Purchasing Department is responsible for the centralized coordination of county purchasing,
for the procurement of supplies, equipment, services, and construction for all Greene County departments at
the best economic value for the taxpayers of Greene County, Missouri.
It is the Purchasing Department's responsibility for insuring compliance with Missouri Revised Statutes and
insuring that the county receives quality goods and services at the lowest possible cost by seeking
competitive prices and proposals in an open, fair and competitive process. The Purchasing Department issues
bids, request for proposals, contracts, and coordinates the disposal and / or transfer of surplus county
property.
Mission Statement
"The mission of the Purchasing Department is to provide for fair and equitable treatment of all persons involved in public purchasing by the county, to maximize the purchasing value of public funds in procurement, to provide safeguards for maintaining a procurement system of quality and integrity, and to provide the highest level of customer service for county departments."

Bids and Proposals
Bids and proposals are due at or before the time shown on the bid document. Late bids and proposals cannot be
accepted. It is the bidder's responsibility to ensure that the current version of the bid document has been
downloaded or otherwise obtained, including any addenda. Bids received without the applicable addenda will be
rejected as incomplete.
It is the responsibility of each supplier to check the County website for bid postings. The County is not
responsible and accepts no liability in the event a supplier is not sent a bid document. The County is not
responsible for and accepts no liability in the event a response is late due to network, internet, or any
other technical problem or interruption.
