Captain Clayton

Captain Kenny Clayton started his career at the GCSO in 1983. Captain Clayton has held all ranks at the Greene County Jail and is currently assigned as the Captain of Programs.

During his career Captain Clayton has been honored with many awards inclulding; 1997 Nominee for the Woodruff Award for Exceptional Performance to the Community, 1997 Elks Lodge; Performance and Service award, 2001 Elks #409; Award for Duties and responsibility to the citizens of Greene County, 2007 Correctional Officer of the Year from the staff of Greene County Sheriff's Department, 2010 Rotary Club; Recognition for Outstanding Service award. Captain Clayton is also a graduate of the National Jail Leadership Academy.
