The Greene County Sheriff’s Department is a full service law enforcement agency that provides a twenty-four hour road patrol, Detective Division, Warrants Section, Civil Process Division, Courts Security Section and a jail that houses five hundred inmates. Details and photographs of these divisions can be viewed through this website.

In an effort to be more responsive to those we serve, we do offer an opportunity through the web-page to offer commendations to the men and women of the department and at the same time we offer the opportunity to file a citizens complaint.

Please be assured that it is our desire to provide you with the very best law enforcement we can and we will strive to serve in the most professional manner possible.
